After struggling with constant internet connection drop-offs with my AEBS I followed the advice of others and picked up a 4 Port Router and set up the AEBS as a bridge. Since then I haven't had one drop-off, which has been great, but I can no longer print to the USB printer on the AEBS. I have a feeling I have to open up a certain port in the router, but not sure what port number. Does anyone else have this setup or have any idea what I can do to restore printing? Thanks in advance.

I don't see why you couldn't print to the printer on the AEBS. The AEBS still has an IP address, right? Use LPR printing (using the AEBS' address) and it should work fine.

The AEBS does not use LPR printing. It uses Rendezvous.

You need port 9100 open to use it.

I guess that's what I get for not having the newest and latest; I thought ALL AirPort base stations supported LPR printing. I guess I was wrong.
