Ok, I will be making my first mac purchase very soon. I will be getting a laptop with an airport/AE card. This is my current setup.

ADSL -> Linksys 4 port router (PPPoE)

On the router I have 3 PCs. Since I want to be able to go anywhere in my house with the laptop... What is the best way to set this up so that all 3 PCs still get internet and I'm able to use the wireless networking on the laptop.

I have never used a mac before, I dont know how to go about setting up the wireless network (to work together with the regular network). Should I buy the AEBS and plug it into the last port on my router, would it be cheaper to get a regular wireless hub and link it with my current router (will this be cheaper ?)

What do you guys think ?!

It would be cheaper to buy a wireless access point or router and connect it to the unused port on your existing router than to buy an AirPort base station. Since you already have a bunch of PCs, there's no real reason to go with Apple equipment just for the wireless portion of your network.

That said, look back through this forum for instructions on everything from configuring wireless networking on a Mac to how to share files and printers between PCs and Macs.
