I have a 17" powerbook and a 1.42DP with AE. I also have several AE basestaions. If I set the basestation to 'g' only mode and increase the multicast rate to 24, the next time I go to change any settings all I see is the default setting which is 'b' only, no password, or closed network. Multicast rate is set to 1. This happens both at home and at work with different AE basestation and AE card. I have also tried to connect via the LAN port but I get the same response. One other thing, if I change anything when I see the default mode and then revert it does revert to 'g' only mode with all my previous settings. Very strange.
