Who's using a cheap laser printer with AEBS?

I'm looking to buy a cheap USB laser printer and want to plug it in to my AEBS' USB printer port. I want to make sure it works before I buy it.

Apple's web site lists the Brother HL1440 as compatible - however, that has been discontinued. In it's place is the HL1435. Is anyone using this printer? Are there others that you are using with success?
