I'm having trouble with my linksys wireless router and my airport card. My airport card says it has a great connection, but everytime I try to access the web it says it can't find the page. I'm sure I'm doing something silly wrong, but I'm very new to macs and don't have a great idea of what I'm doing, Could someone walk me through what I need to do? Thanks in advance for helping aout a PC veteran but a Mac n00b

Why do you have both an Airport and a Linksys router?
Explain how you have your network set up.

I should have been more clear. I have a linksys router (BEFW11S4v2) and a newly installed airport card in my iBook...

Check the security settings, see if there is any WEP encryption or MAC address filtering enabled. If WEP is on, you'll need the password or you'll have to disable this feature for the time being. If there is any sort of MAC address filtering, add you iMac's Airport's MAC address to the list (or disable that as well).
