Hello, I am trying to update the base station with the airprot update but when I go to configure the base station I get an error.
" Can't read base station config file"

Any suggestion on how to fix this. The WAP is set to manual IP's, and bridge. This is not a Airport extreme base station.

Thanks for the time.

You're probably on a different subnet than the ABS. Set it to distribute IPs and get one from it. Then you should be able to config it.

Are you directly connected or using the wireless connection? Sometimes I have trouble connecting unless I use a cable.

Ya, plug into the LAN port or change YOUR IP to be on the same subnet.

You can always reset the base station and start over.

try changing your airport network settings to 'manual with dhcp' and type in 10.0.1.2 as your ip, that worked for me when i had that issue.
