just upgraded to airport utility 3.1.1 through
software upgrade.
everything was working fine before the upgrade.
now the base station is nowhere to be found.
i remember reading in this forum a reader having a similar problem several weeks ago.
his solution was to go back to the previous airport utility.
how does one do that?
i was able to find the 3.0.4 utility on the apple website but the OS will not allow to install older software.
trashing the 3.1.1 software does not cut it?!
any ideas?
Forget downgrading for the time being. Just try to get connected. Try plugging into the ABS with an ethernet cable (what model ABS do you have?). Make sure you are set to DHCP in Sys Prefs > Network.
just a follow up.
it is the graphite base station.
i went through all the usual routines nothing helped.
after not addressing the problem for an hour, the base station shows up and works fine.
beats me.
