Hello all.

Finally purchased a new iBook this weekend (farewell Performa 5200) with a printer, a scanner and a high-speed modem (Alcatel SppeedTouch 510)...

All is working great, except one thing : the firmware update application that came on the CD of my new modem. Once launched, I see the welcome screen... then nothing happen. The icon disappear from the dock but the welcome screen stay : it's like the application is quitting but not the window. I can't even close the window until I log out from OS X.

I supposed there's already a firmware in the modem (don't know a d*** thing about this) and that the modem should still work properly when I'll get an ISP and a connection...

But I find that.. bizarre. Anyone have this modem? Is the firmware update application working?

Regards,
