Ok this is going to be fun to explain, but I hope someone can help me. I have an 800 MHz iBook connected to a Linksys 802.11b router. For some reason, whenever I turn it off or it goes to sleep, it loses the routers IP address. I started making more connections (i.e. Automatic, Cable Modem, etc), but now I just find myself going through them and clicking "apply now" until one works. Any ideas? I know nothing about networking, so please explain in plain English. Thanks!

Go to Network pref pane > Airport tab. Make sure that 'Connect to most recently used available network' is selected, with the password remembered.
