Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help me out. My friend lives in Japan and they are trying to connect their Powerbook G4 (15", original) to their ISDN. Their provider is NTT and the ISDN modem is a "MN 128 Mini-V" model connected by USB. They are running OS X 10.1 (soon to be upgraded to Jaguar) but any solution that involves OS 9 would be welcome too.
The problem is that they do not know how to get this setup to work. I think they have some modem scripts but since I have never used ISDN let alone in Japan I am not sure how they should proceed. Do they just copy the modem scripts into the Modem Scripts folder under OS X. And then will they need some sort of access number/password?

I have tried doing google searches but all the pages come up in Japanese! Any help would be very much appreciated!

It's my understanding that ISDN is ISDN, no matter where you are, so the NTT part of the equation should cancel out. Try searching for that ISDN modem and Mac OS to see if something pops up. At least the pages won't all be in Japanese!
