so i'm reading everywhere that there is no appletalk support with netgear products.

confirm my retardedness:

does this mean i can't connect to other computers (when they are all connected to the router) using the afp:// protocol???

e.g. i will have three macs connected to this sucker, 2 wirelessly, 1 wired. can i click apple-K to locate my computers and then connect with afp://mycomputername ??

is afp appletalk?

i can't believe i don't know this.

You should be fine using command-K from the Finder. When you turn on Personal File Sharing it brings up the listener for AFP over TCP (port 548). You may have to type IP addresses instead of names depending on your DNS/hosts file setup.
