Good evening!! i was wondering if it is possible to sync between a powerbook and powermac (ie for those students who have both and use them together, or one as a backup), using airport or ethernet? and if yes, what is the software used for that? is that something offered by iSync?

also, i remember reading (i think, anyway) that it is possible to use the airport card in either a 'book or powermac as the way to connect to other computers in the house/area (eg my powermac has airport or AE and so does my 'book or 2 'books, can they share/link with each other w/o needing base station?) without needing to have a base station-is this true, or am i making up something that sounds good? and if it is true, why the base station? (if this is the wrong forum, please forgive and move to the correct one, thank you!)
