I'm trying to mount my wife's harddrive for filesharing. I've got an old 266mhz iMac upstairs using a D-link USB to wireless adaptor and can get email, surf the net, but I cannot fileshare with other computers on my local airport network. Her access priveleges are all set to read and write. My harddrive priveleges are set to read and write. I go to the GO in my toolbar and select; "connect to server". I see my wife's iMac and click it. I then see her harddrive seemingly mount to my Tibook's desktop. I click it and see her dropbox. I click the dropbox and it tells me I don't have sufficient access. Is this appletalk or something?! I have filesharing enabled on both computers and my access couldn't be more open! What am I missing???
