I was reading some posts in the forum and saw that the airport extreme card is a mini-pci card. On my dell laptop I have a mini-pci slot that currently has a 802.11b card in it. I am wondering if it is at all possible to put a Airport extreme card in my pc.

Drivers, drivers, drivers! That's the big problem, and I doubt that Apple has written PC drivers for the Extreme card. On the other hand, there are a lot of mini-PCI wireless cards available for Windows machines; I have a Cisco "B" card in my Dell laptop. You might find one that comes with Windows drivers for a better price than the Extreme card.
