I just got my airport router (original graphite) one back today. I hooked it up and it was updated with v3.8.4 firmware and 3.1.1 software. I constantly have my internet just stop even though the lights are green and then i have to unplug and replug it in. I also have it so i see it in the admin utility and when i try to connect i type int he password which i know is correct and it says it is wrong. Is their a way I can go back and reinstall the older software and have this stop or does anyone know what might be the problem?

Thanks.

if you sent it off for service, they may have 'hard reset' it. the base station's password in this case may be 'public'.

worth a shot.

i had the same errors before i downgraded my firmware, i'd have to enter my password, and then it'd tell me it was wrong, then i'd unplug/replug it back in, and used it til it messed up again which was a couple of hours

read the instructions from the base station manual or online. it will tell you how to 'hard reset' it. I don't remember how to do it with the graphite models.
