I dont know wether the modem in my iMac is faulty or theres some setting whats playing around with my computer.
When I connect to the internet with the 56k modem it connects at the usual speed (around 45kbps) but i've noticed its download is very poor, i went to many online bandwidth tests and its saying i have download speeds of like a 14k modem.
I'm having to dial up with my windows pc and use the internet from that via linking them together, very anoying.
Can anyone help, is there a way to reset any settings cause I think it might have been the 1.2.8 pdate i installed or the backup CD i did from my PowerBook.
