I'd like to be able to use a Dell PC laptop on my home network, wirelessly.

a Powerbook is also in my future, so I'd want to use the included AE card on the home network too.

What brand/model do you recommend?

For easiest setup and management, an airport basestation would be your best bet.

I have two netgear wireless routers, and think they're great, however netgears' support people have no idea about macs and are about as much use as a chocolate kettle if you need help.

This forum has helped me fix a couple of problems I had, and is the first place I would turn if I needed help.

Keep an eye on the offers at places like compusa, as I got my mr814 for $30 after rebates, which I use as an additional access point. I have and fm114p as my main router, as it has very good security.
