Hello all-

I've got a 12" Powerbook in the mail with an Airport Extreme card installed and am looking forward to being able to browse the web wirelessly throughout my apartment. I've got a small home network setup currently that uses a wired Linksys BEFSR41 router/4 port switch. It's been absolutely dependable and great for a number of years now, but I'd like to replace it with a wireless router.

Desk space is at a premium so I'd rather not just get the seemingly popular Netgear MR814 router that's been highly recommended here, though it seems I could just plug it into an available port on the Linksys and be good to go. I'd rather a get a wireless router that includes a multiport switch that I can plug my existing two desktop computers into.

The Linksys BEFW11S4 seems do-able since it includes a 4 port switch, but I've read really bad things about it on this forum. Any other recommendations? I'd prefer to spend less than $100 and am happy with 802.11b. Thanks in advance!

EDIT:
I'm an idiot. I didn't realize the Netgear MR814 had a 4 port switch for a wired LAN builtin. I will now dutifully place my order! Sorry for wasting bandwidth.

Just in case you are still looking. Check out this site. I just ordered one this week and had it within 2 days. It works great and the rebate is nice.

Thanks for the tip. I ended up buying from Amazon as the order qualified for free shipping. Still got the $20 rebate, of course. Actual total will be $33~ after rebate, no shipping/tax cost. Nice.
