Connecting to hidden SMB shares

Hi,

I'm using Panther and trying to connect to a hidden SMB share on our Windows 2000 Server. The share is my home folder and is \\servername\username$ but when I connect to the server via Finder -> Connect to Server and enter my credentials I only see non-hidden shares (i.e. no $ at the end of the share name). How can I connect to these hidden shares?
