i want to connect my G5 directly to the LAN port on my AEBS via Ethernet, what setting do i need to set in order to let my G5 get internet from the AEBS?
i've looked at the apple documents/pdfs, but they just confuse me

System Preferences / Network Pane. TCP/IP tab.
Show: Built-in Ethernet.
Configure: using DHCP. (If that's not an option, switch to the PPPoE tab and disable PPPoE, then return to TCP/IP tab)

You don't configure it, that's the point. Set it to DHCP and it auto-configs everything.
