All,

I got a Netgear MA101 to work using the Belkin F5D6050 drivers to work and then adding my WEP/network data into the Info.plist file inside the .kext file.

This worked great until I used Onyx 10.2.8 to optimize my system. During that sequence, the WEBDAV auth box came up which I cancelled out of (don't ask) rather than enter auth data. After that routine and a reboot, the MA101 has been iffy and now just doesn't initialize at all. I've copied the exact files from a Carbon Copy cloned disk and they dont work either.

So, my question is this. Might my "not authorizing" WEBDAV have caused my problems or do you think it was a mixture of the Network Security update and other things?

When my hacked ext driver was working, it would take two reboots to get it to log onto my wireless network but it always worked. Now my ASP sees the USB device, Ethernet Adaptor en1 is available but it never "takes hold" and works. The USB port seems to work so my only other idea is that maybe the USB device itself got "fried" or something since using other cables doesn't help.

Any ideas?

Fixed it.

After two weeks and resetting to what should have been a working state, the only change to networking was adding BroadbandOptimzer. Removed it and the extension now drives the device correctly.

FWIW.
