I am not able to log into my router using safari, but most other browsers work fine. I have a Netgear MR314 (i think).
Does anyone else have this problem?

This is a long shot, but try putting :88 after the URL for the router. I.E. if the router URL is http://192.168.0.1, try http://192.168.0.1:88

It might check to see if the browser is supported and my bet it uses IE or Netscape only. Other browsers identify as that so of course they will work too, stupid safari cant pretend to be other browsers in identification which is why Safari wont work with most online banking either. Something Apple could have done, should ahve done but didnt.

To add to what Athens notes, the reason sites ask what the browser is is simply to provide pages that are optimized for the "big two" browsers-IE and Netscape-which have some subtle but notable differences in the way they implement HTML. Even the "oddball" browsers emulate one or the other. Except Safari. Gotta wonder why...

Worst case scenario, keep a copy of Mozilla or Explorer around for administration. I have gone into my router maybe three times in the past year for firewall adjustments. Safari works fine with my Linksys BEFSR41 though-

safari does seem to be left out in the cold with some banking sites. My two banks work well with Safari now. I had some issuesin the past but they have all been fixed now.
