I'm struggling to get my internet connection working via Airport Extreme. I connect via cable modem to Blueyonder in the UK. I have to register the MAC address of the computer I'm using to access the internet.

I can connect when the cable modem is plugged directly into the computer; but not when trying to connect via Airport Extreme. All the status information tells me I'm logged onto the internet; but I cannot load any web pages or connect to any email servers.

Any help would be appriciated!

Thanks.

The problem is that, unless you've changed a setting, your AirPort Extreme base is reporting its own MAC address, not your computer's. You'll probably have to contact your provider and give them the base station's address (it's called the ethernet address on the label for the base station) to use instead of the computer's.
