I have ordered the Netgear DG834G to act as the router in my new home network thingy.

However, due to stinky productions supplies, I shan't be getting it until the middle of December, and my broadband was activated yesterday but I can't connect to it. Frustrating.

So, since this network is only going to be used for the 512Kb line, I realised that 802.11g was just a little bit overkill, and whilst my new eMac will have an AirPort Extreme card, all the other machines in my house will only be using 802.11b.

So, I look for a 802.11b ADSL modem/router thingy. I'm thinking cheaper and more likely to be in supply.

At the moment, I like the look of this.

Does anyone have experience with it? Will it work fine with both AirPort and AirPort Extreme and also just regular old PCs with ethernet ports and also a USB wireless adaptor thingy?

Or can you recommend another Wireless ADSL modem/router thingy. Needs to be able to have at least four computers connected wirelessly, one by cable, at the same time, and if the thing is easy to use that would be a big help.

Thanks,
Simon

I have this its nothing special, but it does everything I want, from port forwarding to WEP.
Not a bad price either, and I think you can buy a 802.11g PCMIA card and use that insteal of 802.11b...
we don't have time to stop for gas
