Has anybody got an Epson Stylus Color 760 to print wirelessly via the AirPort Extreme USB port?

According to Apple's website it's supported, but in practice, although I can see the printer, the print job just stops ...

Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks for your help!

I am using a Epson 777 on the AEBS USB with no problems. When you use this you must use the Rendezvous Printers selection.

It's got the latest firmware and I'm using the Rendezvous section; but still no joy ...

Connect directly to the printer - will it print then??

My C80 just quits, turns out it's out of ink. Can't test or clean print heads etc wirelessly.

Yeah, it works connected directly to the printer, it recognises that the printer is there over the network; but stops while trying to send the print job to the printer and sets the printer to "Stopped" ...

Bill - Its good to know it *should* work. Have you had to install extra drivers? What system are you using? I'm using Panther, and I have a nasty feeling that has changed the Epson drivers.

I am using OS 10.2.8. I am still a little reluctant to upgrade to Panther, mainly because as of right now everything is working great, and I don't want to risk it.

Finally it works!

I downloaded the OS X drivers from the Epson site. On installation they provided a second set of drivers for the printer (ie they don't overwrite the currently-nonfunctional Apple drivers). These appear to be similar to the old 10.2.x drivers; but they work well with 10.3 and more importantly they work over AirPort Extreme

Result!

Thanks for the pointers guys!
