Is it possible to network two laptops, say a Mac and a Windows XP Home Edition, via Airport?

I have tried this with my buddy's XP laptop and we keep getting error messages.

I have enable Windows File sharing, and created an Airport network (computer to computer) without encryption, for the purposes of transfering files between the two machines without using an ethernet cable.

We have been successful using the ethernet, but are wondering if this is a Panther bug or wireless setup issue between X and XP.

My buddy has been able to login to my Powerbook with my password when we have connected via ethernet, but it does not work over Airport.

We have restarted both machines, etc.

If anybody can help, we appreciate it!
