I was wondering if this configuration would work:

internet sharing from an imac connected to the net with its 56k modem and plugged into an airport base station via ethernet (imac has no airport card). would my airport equipped powerbook be able to surf the web using the imac's dialup?

thanks
b

I think so, but you will have to set up the ABS as a bridge, not as a gateway or router. Turn off the ABS DCHP server, and set the ABS to Bridge Mode.
