I was at a show at a Convention center and tried to connect to the internet via the strong WiFi signal I was getting. While i believe my
G4 15" Powebook was connected and this is my first time using wireless, I was essentially clueless. I researched the Apple site, seeking tutorial and come up short. Is there a Mac tutorial on WiFi ( connecting, configuring to hot spots) either book, website or and Apple document. Most Apple Docs appear to be geared to configuring the base station. Even reseaching the Apple Ineternet Connect software was really light on documentation and related issues. Perhaps I don't know what language to use in searches, or most likely don't understand what I'm reading to seek the the answers I'm looking for: Screen shots of connection settings and basic talk from A-Z on WiFi Configuration.

voyageur: thanks for passing this along, I do appreciate it. Seems the reality of using
hotspots differs from my initial impression of how access would be handled i.e encryption and password protection as it relates to non-commercial hot spots. I'm still way behind the wireless curve but I'm learning.
