Well, the old (20 months or so!) D-Link wired router blew up (literally) this afternoon. So I now have purchased both a Netgear and a D-Link, both wired. Obviously, one will go back. Does either have an advantage, in terms of working with Macs? I know both are multi-platform, but sometimes one is easier to configure/use/operate/troubleshoot.

We had a D-link, so I'm comfortable with that, but the Netgear has a longer warranty.

Any suggestions or input would be helpful. Thanks.

So far as I've seen, there is no difference in compatibility with Macs with ANY third party products that support ethernet. Just about none of them support AppleTalk properly, and you can pretty well forget any support for AppleTalk on a wireless device. Since there are ways to do everything AppleTalk will do without using it, there isn't a real need to support it anyway.

Well, I got the D-link up and running, and since the two wired computers work fine (of course, had some difficulties with my configuration, but figured everything out -- and the PC worked immediately, once mine was configured) -- I guess we'll keep this one!

Now I just have to get the AEBS back up and running. I'll play around with that later today.
Thanks.
