Hi.. I have an 800MHz iBook G3 receiving DSL internet through the airport card.. I have plugged in my printer (HP Deskjet 930C) to the USB port in the AEBS. I used to have no problem printing though it, but it seems so tempermental now, it only rarely works. I use 10.3.2 and Airport 3.2 software. I set it up by going through Rendevous, and my printer model shows up as being on the network, but when I try to print I receive an error asking if I want to "Stop the Print Jobs". Occasionally I can get it to print, but I cannot tell what I am doing different to succeed.

I tried so many things all the way down to erasing and re-installing Panther, I even tried installing Jaguar to see if that would work but I cannot find a reliable solution. I have also tried hard reseting the AEBS, zapping the iBook PRAM, and reseting the iBook's firmware.

Is there something else I can try that any of you know of? Perhaps there is a way to change the firmware of the AEBS? Thanks for any help!!

I couldn't get mine to work either. Here's what I did.

Set up a new printer in print and fax.
Select IP printing
Select Socket/HP Jet Direct (This was key...and I only knew because this is how I got my WinXP machine to print on my AEBS)
Type in your AEBS ip (10.0.1.1 usually)
Then Select your printer type from the list below.

That did it for me. Good luck!
