I live in an apartment complex that has an open internet network. I had my iBook connected for the last few weeks with no problem. However today I was trying to connect my G4 with to my iBook with a cross over cable to share the connection. That's when my problems began. I changed some of the settings to see if I could get both computers to work and now I can't even get my iBook to connect without using dial up. I should have written all the previous settings but it's too late now. Can someone please help? I'm not sure what info I should provide other than my iBook has os x 10.2.8 and my G4 has 10.2. Thanks.

I FINALLY figured out how to do it. Here's the answer in case anyone runs into the same problems.

APPLICATIONS / UTILITIES / AIRPORT SETUP ASSISTANT.

Just follow the steps and you should be set.
