I just got a Belkin Wireless G F5D7230-4 router for my iMac, and everything is working great. However when trying to voice chat on iChat with my friend with an iMac and the same router, there are problems.

He cant hear me atall, but I can hear him. I don't think its hardware as my mic was working ok the other day when I was directly connected to my cable modem. We both have the most up to date firmware etc.

Any ideas on what it could be?

You both need to open the appropriate ports on your wireless routers. iChat uses specific ports for incoming and outgoing data, so you need to tell the router to let that traffic through.

Unfortunately, I can't remember what those ports are right now...

Your router's user manual will have instructions on controlling which ports are open and which are closed.
