Network Hacking?

	SMC WIreless Router G4 PB with 10.3 sometimes there's no connection (with router signal), reset modem and router then I'll get back my connection. I'm seeing 2 network choices in my network panel, one is the one I'm always using (default), and there's one just came up recently (Mabel). I thought it was just some wireless router in my area and I just happened to catch the signal... but when I disconnected my SMC router, that "Mabel" is gone as well, when I plug the SMC back, "Mabel" appear. Is my network being hacked?
