Does anyone know how to change/renew ip address on OS X? I tried searching for it on this forum, but since it's stupid that we can search anything less than 3 letters for a word, I can't search for ip questions.

If you want to renew your DHCP address and have 10.3.x, goto System Preferences->Network->Your Adapter->TCP/IP and select 'Renew DHCP Lease'. If you want to manually change it, just select 'Configure IPv4' and change it from DHCP to Manual.
