From my PowerBook over the LAN I can not mount a volume on my machine. This volume is a LaCie Firewire HD. I have mounted this volume plenty of times in the past and all of a suddden it refuses to mount.
I go through the dialogs presented all the way, right to the point of choosing the volume in the dialog box and yet it refuses to mount.
Command-K
Type in: afp://192.168.1.28
Hit Connect
Put in Name and Password
Hit Connect
Select the Volume in the "Select the volumes you wish to mount" dialog box
Hit OK
It does not mount. Doesn't show up in the browser window or anything. There are OS9 machines on the same LAN that connect just fine to the volume.
I have done the repair permissions thing on both my machine and the server with the drive attached. It's driving me nuts. What can I do about it?
