Has anyone had any joy using a Realtek 8139 NIC in a mac running 10.3.2 (or any variation of 10.3)?

i see that Realtek have beta drivers for the 8169 cards, but not the old 8139... and i haven't tried my card and the old 10.2 drivers just yet (i'm running X on an upgraded 8600 and don't want to push my luck!)

anyone with any comments, they'd be appreciated.
