I am looking for a seamless way to print from my Mac and my work PC laptop while at home.

I have my eye on a color Laserjet HP 3500n which has a network interface card that can plug directly into my ethernet hub.

This sounds like a very easy solution that both computers will be happy without having to slave the printer to one computer, and with no "printer sharing"...is it really that simple?

thanks, VX

That should work. Note HP's web site specifies support for "Mac OS 9.0 and later (driver support is provided for 64-bit OS, but no installer or toolbox support), Mac OS X v 10.2 and later"
