I have a cable internet connection in my home with an Airport Base Station. I have a web server with a domain name on this network. The domain is registered on a DNS server outside of my network. When i try to access the website using the domain name, my browser times out. If i punch in the ip of the server, the site comes up.

I think this is a dns issue, but i'm not sure how to fix it. Is this something i can fix or do i just have to access the server via the local ip?
