Hey everybody. I was using my iMac to host some files onto the internet, and I have a dynamic IP, and a router. To solve that issue, I downloaded the automatic IP updater client from www.no-ip.com, and registered my site as http://chicane.myftp.org. This worked for the past 3-4 months, fine. Then, about 3 days ago (I hadn't changed anything), instead of connecting to my server, chicane.myftp.org was suddenly asking for a username and password to my router. I entered it.. and got to my linksys's router information. WTF? SO I double checked that everything was set the way it was supposed to be set.... and it was. I didn't change ANYTHING to cause it to get this messed up.... anyone have any ideas? Now it just doesn't seem to be working at all.....

Try resetting the router. Though the settings appear stable, something might have gotten screwed up somehow.

I've had this happen, what happened was I was trying to access my IP from internally, DNS usually won't resolve internally. Make sure the settings on the router arn't allowing remote access, make sure port forwarding is turned on, or your mac is in a DMZ, hope this helps.

Weird. It just started working again. Whatever it was, I think it was www.no-ip.com related, not locally. Oh well. Thanks for the help guys!
PS: Already have my mac in the DMZ and whatnot. Thanks for the help anyway!
