Can anyone recommend a WAP to add to my wired linksys router (befsr41 I think). I was thinking of linksys WAP54G. But have heard mixed reviews...

Well, just from personal experience I'd say the wap54g. I have the same setup, befsr41 and decided to add wireless. I've been using the wap54g access point since I got my iBook in feb and it works flawlessly. I have wep enabled with no problems, and have a WinXP laptop, WinME laptop, iBook (OSX) and a PocketPc all working off it simultaneously. Oh, and the range w/ my iBook is well over 200ft... Woot!

thanks for that, I am now torn between the wap54g and a netgear WG602. Are you in the US? I think the US version of the wap54g has more up to date (better) firmware than the EU version....
