Hi all,

I have a basic wired 8-port router that is connected to a bunch of old computers. I have an Airport Station connected to the 8-port router (this shares my internet signal). From my wireless Powerbook, is there a way for me to connect to the hard drives of my old computers?

Weirdly, I can connect to those old computers if I wire up my computer via the ethernet port off of the Airport Station. But once I am wireless, I cannnot connect to those hard drives. Is there a solution or workaround? Am I missing something?

Thanks a bunch,
- Slim

Nevermind, figured it out. With a lot of time and a little luck...

In the Airport Admin utility, if you choose not to distribute IP addresses in the Networking tab, your wireless computer is given a 192.168.... address. From then on, you can access all hard drives from sharing computers on the network.
