I ordered a Airport Express June 7. The first acknowledgment said Est. build time = 3 days, but it was later changed to July 15, caused by the following reason:
"The shipment delay with the AirPort Express is due to unforeseen high demand for the product."

I can live with the longer delivery time, but they should have given me a correct reason.


Conclusion: We will not see the Airport Express until July 15..

Man I need it now. Ive been wanting to get airport in my apartment and now that the Express came out I have no excuses. I cant wait!

I ordered the audio kit with the Express and got this a few days later:

Dear Valued Apple Customer,

Thank you for placing your Apple Store Order *******

We need your response to continue processing your order.

Due to an unexpected supply delay, we are unable to ship the following
item(s) by the last date you were quoted:

M9573LL/A, EXPRESS STEREO CONNECTION KIT-USA
will now ship on or before 07/15/2004

I suspect July 15 is indeed the shipping day.

My AirPort Express order has an "on or before" date of 7/15.
