I know this is a stupid question and yes I've done some research, but I just want the final "Yes, it works." I am getting a Powerbook with Airport Extreme, and was wondering if it would work with the router. 802.11 can interoperate between b, a, and g, but can it connect with the router? Thanks

The PowerBook should able to talk to your DI-614+ without problem on 802.11b (11Mbps). It should (although I haven't try it) be able to talk to each other on 802.11g (54Mbps).
Apple Airport Extreme does not support 802.11a, so you won't be able to get 802.11a connection at all.
