I am new to this, as I just bought an iBook with Airport and connected a wireless router to my eMac, which isn't wi-fi, from my cable modem so I could use both computers at home. My question is: How do I share files over the internet? I used to just http://ip address/username/shared file. The IP addy is now a 192.168.0.x. How does someone wanting to access my shared folder get to it? Is it automatic or do I have to do some advanced procedure? Thanks in advance for any help
W....liar or idiot? Pick two.

You need to port-map port 80 (http) to the private (192.168.x.x) address of the machine you want shared. This is a function in the router.

Then you give people the public address instead of the private one.
