How many do you think people would buy? It's not like the ABX is candy. I only bought one. I only wish Apple would have shipped it and the audio kit using the same shipping method. I get the ABX tomorrow and the audio kit sometime next week.

I bought two, one for each stereo in my house. The range extending features are just a bonus!

I ordered just the APX unit. I could not tell if the extra $39 audio thingy was needed or if that was for specialized audio setups. I assume that the APX unit does not come with any cords? And if I want to hook up speakers I just insert the headphone-size jack from my stand-alone computer speakers.
Do you have to have the extra $39 kit for hooking up to the back of a stereo?? Is it a radio-shack kind of purchase or do you need the Apple kit?

....another thing. It looks like the $39 also buys the "extension cord" I own a PB and two power adaptors with extension cords. I would assume that the extension cord fits on APX since it looks the same.

I tried to do the range extending and it dropped my signal to almost nothing. Now I'm just using it for AirTunes. I get 3 bars downstairs anyway.

I was going to buy 2, but since I have been puttin off going wireless until WPA became 'standard', I shall not be buying any - apparently with these things it's WEP or nothing.
I live in a 2 story house, my study is upstairs, and the stereo is downstairs.

Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things, but for good people to do bad things, it takes religion - Steven Weinberg.

There is no zero option!
I have to see one in person before I buy it.
