The signal strength on my powerbook is great, and it detects the airport express basestation fine. I can stream audio wirelessly and easily. When I have an ethernet cable plugged into my computer I can get on the net at hispeed through a cable modem. Problem is that when I plug the ethernet into the airportexpress, I can't get on the net anymore. I have adjusted the configurations, gone throught the setup assistant(s), put in the MAC addresses. I think one problem is that in the airport admin utility is keeps connecting to "ethernet" instead of "airport WSP".

Anyone know possible adjustments I can make...I'm sure its just a configuration problem?

Is this the first time you're using wireless to get to the Internet? If so, then it is probably that you don't have your network settings set to have your computer connect to the network that way. I'm not in front of a Mac right now (wish I had one at work) but under the Network preferences panel you should be able to find a place where you say which methods the computer is allowed to connect to the network by (Airport, Ethernet, ...) and in which order. If I'm correct, you don't have a check next to the Airport entry.
