Have an Imac that the network port is no longer in service, why I don't know, but it costs too much to replace the logic board to fix it. What are some USB or Firewire aternatives I can use to hook back up to my network? I'm having a hard time finding anything made for the MAC, I can find plenty of pc adapters, will any of them actually work?

Thanks!!!

There're a number of WiFi USB dongles you could use:
- MacSense AeroPad Plus
- D-Link DWL-122 Wireless USB Adapter (Check for reviews/stories, though.)

Jaton used to make the USB XpressNet, but I've heard it wasn't always a 100% working solution.

If your iMac supports it, it looks like Airport (or Airport Extreme) is your best option. I've not yet found a USB-to-Ethernet product for the iMac which works as promised.
