I have a Epson USB printer hooked directly to my Mac running jag. I have Windows File Sharing, and Printer Sharing enabled in the Sharing pref pane. How do I get the WinXPPro machine (both machines hooked up thru a Linksys ethernet router) to be able to print on the Epson printer?

TIA....

It would actually be much easier to do the opposite, especially if you're running Panther. Hook up the printer to your XP box, share it, then in Panther, simply add it under "Windows Printing" in the Printer Setup Utility. Works like a charm.

Oops--just saw you're running Jaguar. nevermind...

Mac had it...it's much easier to share a printer hanging off a Windows box with a Mac than it is to share a printer connected to a Mac with a Windows box.

It can be done, but it's a hassle and a half-so much so that I've never gone to the trouble.

Can someone help me with this, can't seem to get my Wireless Compaq to print to HP Deskjet 3740 connected to G5 with appropriate System Preferences Sharing things turned on, and it adds it fine on the PC, just won't print to it, simply hangs instead. Proper drivers installed. Any ideas?
