I've been using the same powerbook with airport card and the same base station for over 2 years, lately the airport signal will disappear all of a sudden and then it shows NO NETWORK in the menu bar, no matter what I do it just won't show, turn on/off airport didn't help... and obviously there's another computer attached to the airport with cable... and internet still worked on that computer.

Is it the airport card? or the airport? or my powerbook?

Yeah, open up Airport Admin on your connected computer then double-click on your Base Station. When your settings overview pops up, click on "Show all Settings" in the lower left of the screen. Next to last setting on the Airport pane is a setting for channels. I suggest automatic since the phone probably roams for the best channel as well. Hope that works for you.

Cheers!
