I currently have a wireless network which is supporting my iMac(hardwired), two PC laptops(wireless), and one desktop PC (hardwired). It all works quite nicely. My problem is when I try to connect a second Mac with a D-Link USB adaptor. I can see the connection is strong and I can set the network settings to "builtin ethernet" using DCHP and the web will work fine. My problem is that it doesn't seem to remember the settings. The next time I boot, the computer will not be able find the server. My router is a Linksys WRT54G.

2)Does a 4-port wireless router limit you to 4 wired and unlimited wireless?
